Russian coach Valery Nepomnyashchy believes that Krasnodar will continue to fight for the championship this season WORLD RPL.

— Krasnodar’s advantage is slowly disappearing, is Zenit taking the lead?
– It seems to me that this is completely expected. “Zenith” won’t just let anyone go and won’t give up their chances. As for Krasnodar, this is the only defeat so far, although it is generally impossible without defeats. The fact that Krasnodar lost to CSKA is one situation. Krasnodar will continue to compete in the fight for the championship, I am convinced of this. Therefore, an interesting continuation of the championship awaits us.
— Will Krasnodar’s championship ambitions be tested in a head-to-head meeting with Zenit?
— This, of course, is one of the main moments when a game is played for six points in a head-to-head meeting. This is true, but most often this is tested not in games between favorites and leaders, but in who loses points with teams that are far from the main ones in this championship. This is precisely the loss. So far, Krasnodar has not lost points against outsiders, but Zenit has not always succeeded. But there is still more to come. For me, my favorite is Zenit, as usual, in terms of potential, level, and quality of players, they are superior to today’s Krasnodar.
— Zenit has a meeting with Baltika ahead, and Krasnodar will have Krylia Sovetov…
— I can’t assume anything, but I’ll say this: on the one hand, “Wings” are unpredictable now. This tension that accompanies this young team will take its toll. And Zenit has only one problem – how can Semak motivate the Brazilian team? When they play with inspiration, when they play with pleasure, they have no equal in today’s Russian championship. But as soon as they slightly lose the desire to play as hard as they can, they can suffer. This is the disadvantage of Zenit.
