Bosnian footballer of Orenburg: “Russians like to drink beer much more than vodka”

Orenburg midfielder Ivan Basic shared his opinion about the alcohol preferences of Russians.
Basic moved to Orenburg in 2022. This season, the 21-year-old Bosnian midfielder played 15 matches in the Russian Championship and Cup, scoring one goal.
– Ha-ha! I haven’t tried vodka in Russia. But I tried it in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A few years ago, before the transfer to Orenburg, when someone talked about vodka, I immediately had an association with Russians. But I lived here and it seemed to me that Russians like to drink beer much more than vodka,” Bashich told RB Sport.
“Orenburg” ranks 14th in the Russian Championship standings, gaining 12 points in 13 rounds.
