The house of former Zenit and Porto coach Andre Villas-Boas was attacked by vandals, reports Jornal de Noticias.
The words “ungrateful” and “traitor” appeared on the wall and gate of a house in Portugal.
Earlier it became known that 46-year-old Villas-Boas nominated his candidacy for the presidential elections in Porto. Elections will take place in June 2024.
Villas-Boas worked with Zenit from 2014 to 2016 and won the Russian Championship, Cup and Super Cup with the team.
The Portuguese specialist’s last place of work was the French Marseille, which he headed from 2019 to 2021. He also previously coached Porto, English Chelsea and Tottenham and Chinese Shanghai SIPG.
