Manchester United was defeated by Newcastle with a crushing score in the 1/8 finals of the English League Cup and ended its performance in the tournament.

Manchester United – Newcastle – 0:3. Goals: Miguel Almiron 28, Lewis Hall 36, Joe Willock 60.

London Chelsea beat Blackburn at home – 2:0. The goals were scored by Benoit Badiashile in the 30th minute and Raheem Sterling in the 59th minute.

London Arsenal lost away to West Ham – 1:3. The goals for the Hammers were scored by Mohammed Kudus (50), Jarrod Bowen (60). Gunners defender Ben White scored another own goal in the 16th minute. Martin Odegaard scored for Arsenal (90+6).

Liverpool won away against Bournemouth with a score of 2:1. The winners’ goals were scored by Cody Gakpo in the 31st minute and Darwin Nunez (70). Justin Kluivert scored for Bournemouth (64).

Fulham beat Ipswich Town 3-1 away. The winners’ goals were scored by Harry Wilson in the 9th minute, Rodrigo Muniz (50), Tom Cairney (77). Elkan Baggott scored for Ipswich Town (79).

Everton defeated Burnley at home with a score of 3:0. The goals were scored by James Tarkowski in the 13th minute, Amadou Onana (53) and Ashley Young (90+2).
