Spartak Moscow defender Leon Klassen considers Krasnodar a team that is fighting for the championship title.

On Wednesday, Spartak lost to Krasnodar in the match of the 6th round of the group stage of the RPL FONBET Russian Cup. The meeting in Moscow ended with a score of 3:2 in favor of the guests.

“I felt like we were playing against a team that was fighting for the championship. Therefore, there was great motivation to beat them. I don’t know what has changed in Krasnodar. It’s better to ask them what has changed, that they play so well,” Klassen is quoted by “Championship.”

After 13 rounds, Krasnodar ranks first in the RPL standings with 28 points. Zenit is in second place (26 points), third place is occupied by Krylya Sovetov Samara (22). Spartak is in seventh place in the table (20).
