Sochi footballer Vyacheslav Litvinov, who previously played for Krasnodar, spoke about why he decided not to move to a foreign club yet.

The 22-year-old football player’s contract with the Sochi club runs until 2027. The Transfermarkt portal estimates the player’s value at 1.2 million euros.

— In winter I wanted Boavista. There were options in Italy and Germany. But I haven’t become what I should be yet. We must reason correctly.

You can go to Europe and shit yourself there. Who will take it then? My agent and I decided: it’s too early. First you need to play consistently. I didn’t spend much time in Krasnodar; I had a difficult six months in Sochi. And now rush to Europe without having spent a stable period in the RPL? The language barrier, again, is a bunch of other factors. The main thing is the experience and confidence that I have to gain.

—Europe needs English. Are you pursuing it as your agent advised you?

– Four to five times a week. I relearned the alphabet and numbers. But it was important for me to communicate with Ivich and partners. And in the future, I hope, English will be useful abroad. First grow up in Russia, and then go higher. I myself thought about Europe, and when the agent began to refer me, he found me coaches, he invested so much in development, he wanted even more,” Sport24 quotes Litvinov as saying.
