Dynamo board member Dmitry Gafin spoke about the reaction of ex-team player Arsen Zakharyan, now playing for Real Sociedad, to his debut in the Champions League.
Zakharyan moved to the Spanish club in August of this year, and in October he made his debut in the Champions League group stage match with Benfica (1:0).
— I recently congratulated Zakharyan on his debut in the Champions League. Arsen said that it was exciting, but less exciting than reaching the Russian Cup final. Then the atmosphere was more interesting for him,” Sport24 quotes Gafin as saying.
In total, Zakharyan played 8 matches for Real Sociedad, in which he was not effective.
