CSKA beat Orenburg and became first in its group in the Russian Cup
CSKA defeated Orenburg in the match of the 6th round of the group stage of the RPL FONBET Russian Football Cup.
The meeting of Group A took place in Moscow and ended with a score of 3:1. For the army team, Fyodor Chalov scored a double (35th minute from the penalty spot and 74th minute), Anton Zabolotny scored one goal (42), and Emircan Gurlyuk (37) scored for the guests.
CSKA (11 points) took first place in Group A, beating Orenburg (11) in head-to-head matches. The third place was “Sochi” (8), Voronezh “Fakel” (6) closed the quartet. CSKA and Orenburg reached the quarterfinals of the RPL Path, Sochi will continue to compete in the Path of Regions.
