“Spartak” can surprise “Lokomotiv” in the match of the 14th round of the RPL, Balakhnin believes

Former coach of the Russian national football team Sergei Balakhnin shared his expectations from the match of the 14th round of the WORLD RPL between Lokomotiv and Spartak.

Lokomotiv will host Spartak on November 5, the meeting will begin at 19:30 Moscow time.

— What result in this match would surprise you?

– None. Anything can happen, and above all with Spartak. Both teams are approximately equal at this stage, so the result is difficult to predict. There can be all three outcomes.

— What can come to the fore in such a game and affect the result?

— Emotional background. First of all, this concerns Spartak. But Lokomotiv may also face this. We need to see how inspired the railway workers will be. For example, (Artem) Dzyuba. This team can give very good results, because they have decent performers. And the “red-whites” are not in a very good emotional background, because their coach is now being taken in by everyone. Everyone sees and understands this. Something doesn’t work out for him. Therefore, the base background for Lokomotiv will be slightly higher.
