Fakel defender Fedor Kudryashov, who received a head injury in the match with Akhmat, was sent to the hospital, said the head coach of the Voronezh team Sergei Tashuev.
The meeting, which took place on Saturday in Grozny, ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the team from Voronezh. At the beginning of the second half, Kudryashov, while fighting for the ball with an opponent, was hit in the temple, after which he collapsed onto the lawn. The footballer was able to leave the field only with the help of medical personnel.
“Fyodor was taken to the hospital, he is being examined. He may have a concussion, or perhaps even a fracture. This is a big problem for us,” the Match TV website quotes the coach as saying.
Akhmat suffered a fourth defeat in a row and is in 13th place in the table with 12 points. “Fakel” won the third victory in a row and is in ninth position with 18 points.
