“In the game with Spartak, Dzyuba will be doubly dangerous” – Kechinov

Ex-footballer of “Spartak” Valery Kechinov shared his opinion about the upcoming derby with “Lokomotiv”, and also noted that the “red-whites” should be wary of the railwaymen’s forward Artem Dzyuba.

The game of the 14th round of the MIR RPL will take place on November 5 at the Lokomotiv field and will begin at 19:30 Moscow time.

— Matches between these teams are always unpredictable. Now there is no favorite for me in the match. “Spartak” is in a fever, and the railway workers have not yet found a completely stable game either. They can win against anyone, or they can play poorly against any opponent. There is no stability. Just like the “red-whites”. Whoever is stronger at a given hour, whose players will be able to realize their skills, that team will win.

— Babich and Dzhikia will miss the match for various reasons. What do you think about Spartak’s defense?

— When Babich appeared, everyone began to say that the defense began to play calmer and more confidently, but then something went wrong again. Spartak conceded two or three goals in each match. And yet Babich is a loss. As for Dzhikia, everyone is already used to the fact that he does not play in the championship.

— So you shouldn’t expect much reliability in the “red-whites” defense?

“With both Babich and Dzhikia, there was no confidence that the defense would be calm. And then Dziuba will play with a special attitude. Plus there is Glushenkov, who was in Spartak, but did not play. And now he’s doing great. I think that he will also have a special mood. Pinyaev now looks much more confident. Spartak’s defense will have plenty of work to do.

— Over the last nine matches, Dzyuba, whom you mentioned, scored only one goal. Is he really that dangerous now?

“Tomorrow he will be doubly dangerous.” And for this reason too. Some series are always interrupted. Of course, I wouldn’t want this to happen in the game with Spartak. But anything is possible.

— Promes’ entry into the field is also in question. Without him, will it be more difficult for the guests to win?

— Without him, Spartak generally plays hard. This is the player who pulls the team through when the game is not going well and the result is in doubt. Due to his individual skill and the fact that he can score at any moment, he has a chance to win any match.

— If Spartak loses, it will be the third defeat in a row. Will they talk about the crisis again?

— The team is in a fever. Before the match with PARIS NN there were several unsuccessful games. Then we played well against Nizhny Novgorod, and then again we saw defeats from Fakel and Krasnodar. Therefore, it is generally unclear what to expect in the game with Lokomotiv.

— Would a draw be an acceptable result for any of the teams?
