Golovin’s goal and assist helped Monaco defeat Brest in the French Championship match

Monaco beat Brest in the match of the 11th round of the French football championship.
The meeting took place in Monaco and ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the hosts. The goals were scored by midfielder Denis Zakaria (16th minute) and Russian midfielder Alexander Golovin (69). The Russian also made an assist. Golovin was replaced in the 89th minute.
At the end of the match, Brest defender Lilian Brassier received a second yellow card and was sent off from the field.
In total, Golovin has five goals and two assists this season.
Monaco is second in the Ligue 1 standings with 23 points, Brest (15) is sixth.
