Rostov defender Ilya Vakhania explained how the team managed to achieve positive results in recent matches.
In the last three meetings, the Rostovites won three victories – two in the RPL and one in the FONBET Russian Cup.
— In fact, things got better even after the September pause. We just had a match with Baltika and there was a feeling that things were getting better. It was from the point of view of the game that they looked great. Yes, we were unlucky somewhere. Somewhere we were punished for mistakes, but there was an understanding that everything would work out. We can say that we put our heads together, started working harder – and this is the result,” Vakhania told the Championship.
After 13 matches played, Rostov is in tenth place in the RPL WORLD table, gaining 16 points.
