The Ural players are to blame for not being included in the national team for the November training camp; they need to train more, says Grigory Ivanov, president of the Yekaterinburg club.

On Tuesday, November 7, the expanded composition of the national team was published, which included 29 players. The training camp will begin in Novogorsk on November 13.

— The national team coach decides who to call. Considering the performance of our team, he is right that he does not call up our players. But we have no complaints. It is the coach’s right to decide who he wants to see on the team.

— Is it a shame that even Pomazun didn’t make it into the lineup?

– It’s a shame, of course. But the players themselves must think about it. It’s their own fault, they should work harder.

— Do you think the team didn’t call anyone because of the results?

– Certainly. When they showed a good game, then they were called,” RB Sport quotes Ivanov as saying.

The Russian national team will play a friendly match with the Cuban team on November 20 in Volgograd, the game will start at 19:30 (Moscow time).
