Krasnodar goalkeeper Matvey Safonov became number one in the Russian national team, and Ilya Lantratov from Lokomotiv will be his backup, says former CSKA goalkeeper Valery Novikov.

The Russian team will play a friendly match with the Cuban team on November 20. The extended list of Russian national team players invited to the training camp included goalkeepers Safonov, Lantratov, Artur Nigmatullin (PARI NN) and Andrey Lunev (Qarabag).

— I think that the positions of Safonov and Lantratov are already becoming clear in the national team. Matvey has become a strong number one, and Ilya will be his backup. As for Lunev and Nigmatullin, this is a rather unusual choice.
