Former Brazilian national team midfielder Felipe Melo spoke about how he would act against Lionel Messi in an official match.
Messi won the World Cup in 2022 with Argentina. At the end of October this year, the 36-year-old striker received the eighth Ballon d’Or in his career. Felipe Melo, as part of the Brazilian national team, reached the quarterfinals of the World Cup in 2010.
“I’m happy for Messi, but I’m Brazilian, so I would like the Ballon d’Or award to go to Neymar. If I had to play against Messi, before the match I would kiss him, during the game I would hit him on the legs, and after the match I would ask him for a T-shirt,” Melo said, as quoted by ITAsportpress.
