“I don’t know when Lokomotiv will become the champion next time. Everything seems to be there, but something is still missing” – Janashia
Former Lokomotiv Moscow striker Zaza Janashia spoke about the team’s championship prospects.
Based on the results of 14 rounds of the MIR RPL, Lokomotiv is in seventh place, having scored 21 points. In the next match on Saturday, the capital’s team will host Grozny’s Akhmat.
— I don’t know when Lokomotiv will become the champion next time. Now the championship is going hard – good teams, struggle. Loko plays well in one match, but weaker in the second. There’s just something missing, I can’t even understand what. The team is good, young. It seems like everything is there, but something is still missing,” Janashia told the Championship.
The last time Lokomotiv became Russian champion was in 2018.
