Margaryan replaced Ibragimov as sports director of Baltika

Ismail Ibragimov left the post of sports director of the Kaliningrad Baltika, he was replaced by Armen Margaryan, the press service of the Rostec state corporation, which is the general sponsor of the team, told Match TV.

On Sunday, Baltika drew with Paris NN in the away match of the 15th round of the Russian championship – 0:0. The Kaliningrad club scored points on the road for the first time this season and, with 12 points, is in 14th place in the RPL standings.

The return of the club to the elite of domestic football in Kaliningrad has been awaited for 25 years. However, unfortunately, in the RPL the team is not showing the results that I am sure the team is capable of and that the fans expect. In this regard, we decided to make changes in the sports block of the club. “We are grateful to Ismail Akhmedovich for the work done and sincerely wish him good luck,” said Ilya Myasnikov, Chairman of the Baltika Board of Trustees.
