Spartak beat Rostov and rose to sixth place in the RPL
Moscow “Spartak” defeated “Rostov” in the home match of the 15th round of the Russian football championship.
The meeting on Sunday ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the home team, with goals scored by Mikhail Ignatov (4th minute) and Quincy Promes (15th minute). Maxim Osipenko scored for the Rostovites, converting a penalty in the 81st minute.
Spartak scored 24 points and rose to sixth place in the standings, Rostov (17 points) is in 11th place.
The “Red-Whites” will play away in the next round against Kaliningrad “Baltika” on November 25, Valery Karpin’s team will host “PARI NN” a day later.
