Andrey Kobelev: “Dynamo” managed to consistently pass the first round of the RPL”

Former Dynamo coach Andrei Kobelev summed up the results of the first round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) for the Blue and White this season.

After 15 rounds, Dynamo is in third place in the table with 25 points, seven points behind the leading Krasnodar.

— The very fact that Dynamo is in third place in the standings allows us to say that the team managed to consistently and successfully pass the first round of the championship.

The team began to take shape only before the start of the season with the arrival of Marcel Lička as head coach. A sufficient number of players have left, and new ones have taken their places. In the conditions of a short pre-season preparation, it was obvious that the team would be built during the main tournament.

Lichka is focused on attacking play, but, unfortunately, not all matches in the first round of the championship, which were seen as victories, were completed with three points. Now we can say that a balance has finally been found between attack and defense,” Kobelev told RT.
