“I didn’t play for CSKA for personal reasons, because of some people in the club” – Carrascal
Dynamo midfielder Jorge Carrascal spoke about the reasons for leaving CSKA in the summer transfer window, noting that he was dissatisfied with his position in the team.
The 25-year-old Colombian became a Dynamo player in August, signing a contract until 2027.
— CSKA has a good team, they train and prepare well. I know how they work at the club. They wanted to change things up a little. If we talk about me, I didn’t play for personal reasons, because of some people in the club. The same thing happened to Jesus Medina. That’s why we decided to leave.
I watch CSKA matches, I have many friends there – Moises, Chalov, Diveev. I maintain friendly relations with the physiotherapist, with some club employees, with the massage therapist, with the translator. We have a good relationship with the sports director – no problems! They understood that I was unhappy with my position on the team and that in the current situation it was better for me to leave. “I wanted to change the situation and made this decision,” Carrascal is quoted as saying by “Championship.”
