Portugal national football team forward Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player in history to score 10 goals for the national team at the age of 38, reports the statistics portal Stats Foot.

The footballer scored in the match of the ninth round of the group stage of the qualifying tournament for the 2024 European Championship against the Liechtenstein team (2:0).

In the list of top scorers in the qualifying stage, the Portuguese is second with 10 goals, behind Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku in terms of additional indicators.

In total, Ronaldo played 203 games for the national team and scored 127 goals.

Ronaldo has been playing for Al-Nasr from Saudi Arabia since December 2022. The footballer has 36 matches for the Saudi team, in which he scored 30 goals and gave 11 assists.
