The Danish national team made it to the European Football Championship

The Danish national team beat the Slovenian team and reached the final stage of the 2024 European Football Championship.

The meeting in Copenhagen ended with a score of 2:1. Joakim Mehle scored for the hosts in the 26th minute and Thomas Delaney (54). Eric Janzha (30) scored for the guests. The Danes lead Group H with 22 points after 9 matches. The Slovenians scored 19 points.

The Italian national team defeated the North Macedonian team. The meeting in Rome ended with a score of 5:2. For the hosts, Matteo Darmian scored in the 17th minute, Federico Chiesa (41, 45), Giacomo Raspadori (81), Stefan El-Shaarawy (90+3). Yani Atanasov scored a double for the guests (52, 74).

In the parallel match of Group C, the England team beat the Malta team – 2:0. Malta defender Enrique Pepe scored an own goal in the 8th minute, another goal was scored by Harry Kane (75).

The Polish team played a draw with the Czech team. The meeting in Warsaw ended with the score 1:1. Jakub Piotrovsky scored for the hosts in the 38th minute. Tomas Soucek (49) scored for the visitors.

The Polish national team has scored 11 points after eight matches and will not rise above third place in Group E. The Czechs are in second place with 12 points. The Albanian team is in the lead with 14 points, having already made it to the final stage of the European Championship.

The European Championship will take place from June 14 to July 14, 2024. Ten German cities will host the tournament matches: Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich and Stuttgart.
