“Krasnodar” is the only real competitor of “Zenith” in the fight for the championship, says Bushmanov

Former Russian national team footballer Evgeny Bushmanov believes that Krasnodar is the only MIR team of the Russian Premier League (RPL) that can compete with Zenit St. Petersburg in the fight for the championship.
After the first round, Krasnodar is in the lead in the Russian Championship standings, two points ahead of Zenit.
— With the arrival of Ivic, Krasnodar changed last season, they became a balanced team. Now we see that they are going quite confidently and gaining points. I think they will be able to impose competition on Zenit this season. In the head-to-head match they looked decent. Today, Krasnodar is the only real competitor of Zenit,” RB Sport quotes Bushmanov as saying.
