The Croatian national team defeated the Latvians and deprived Armenia of the chance to qualify for the 2024 EURO

The Croatian national team defeated the Latvian team in the qualifying match for the 2024 European Championship.
The meeting in Riga ended with a score of 2:0, the goals were scored by Lovro Maier and Andrej Kramaric.
The Croats scored 13 points and moved up to second place in Group D, Latvia (3 points) is in last place. The Turkish national team (16 points) previously secured access to the final stage of the tournament.
In the final round, the Croatian team will play at home with the Armenian team (8 points), which lost its chance of qualifying for Euro 2024, and the Welsh team (11 points) will host Turkey.
In the Group I match, the Belarusian team beat Andorra at home – 1:0.
