Babic’s goal helped Serbia qualify for the finals of the 2024 European Championship

The Serbian national football team drew with Bulgaria in the final match of the qualifying round for the 2024 European Championship.
The meeting of Group G took place in Leskovac, Serbia and ended with a score of 2:2. The hosts responded to the goals of Georgi Rusev and Kirill Despodov with precise shots from Milos Veljkovic and Srdjan Babic, who plays for Spartak Moscow in the WORLD RPL. Thanks to this result, Serbia qualified for the final part of the 2024 European Championship.
In a parallel match, Montenegro lost away to Hungary with a score of 1:3. Dominik Szoboszlai scored a double for the winners, Zsolt Nagy also scored, and Slobodan Rubezic scored for the guests.
Thus, Hungary (18 points) and Serbia (14), who took the first two places in Group G, made it to the final part of Euro 2024. Montenegro (11) took third place, Bulgaria (4) took fifth. Also participating in the group was the Lithuanian team (6).
