Lorient defender Benjamin Mendy has filed a multi-million pound claim against Manchester City for unpaid wages.
The player reported “unauthorized salary deductions” after being accused of rape and attempted rape in 2021. In 2023, the footballer was found not guilty of all charges.
Representing Mendy in this case Nick DeMarco further noted that the “citizens” did not pay any money to the defender from September 2021 until the end of the contract, which expired in June this year.
