Krugovoy said that choosing Zenit helped him fulfill his father’s dream

Zenit defender Danil Krugovoy admitted that he never regretted choosing the team from St. Petersburg rather than CSKA.
25-year-old Krugovoy is a graduate of the Zenit academy. From July 2018 to July 2020, he played for the Ufa football club. The defender’s current contract with the Blue-White-Blues runs until the summer of 2024.
– What should I regret? I am a three-time Russian champion. Super Bowl winner. There is not enough Cup for a complete collection. There were no thoughts of regret. “I fulfilled my father’s dream,” the Championship quoted Krugovoy as saying.
In the current RPL season, after the first round, Krasnodar ranks first in the Russian Championship standings, gaining 32 points. Next behind him is Zenit (30 points). Dynamo Moscow is in third place with 25 points.
