Ex-adviser Fedun believes that Spartak’s potential is comparable to Fiorentina
Franco Camozzi, a former adviser to the ex-owner of Spartak Leonid Fedun, believes that the Moscow club can be compared to the Italian Fiorentina in terms of its roster.
After the first round, Spartak, led by Guillermo Abascal, is in sixth place in the MIR RPL standings, eight points behind the leading Krasnodar.
— If we draw a parallel between the RPL and Serie A, right now Spartak can be compared to Fiorentina in terms of potential. But for Spartak to return to the form when it beat Napoli in the Europa League, it needs a better championship. Today the level of RPL has become weaker. Only the presence of European cups will make the championship stronger,” Camozzi told Sport24.
