The sixth round meeting took place at the Maracanã stadium in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday and ended in a victory for the guests with a score of 1:0. The game started with a 30-minute delay due to riots in the stands that began during the playing of the national anthems. The police used batons and several fans were hospitalized. The players of the Argentina national team first approached the fans, and later, by the decision of Lionel Messi, they went to the locker room.
The Argentina national team leads the standings with 15 points, the Brazilians (7) are sixth.
