Dynamo Moscow defender Ivan Lepsky spoke about the working methods of the team’s head coach Marcel Licka, noting his personal qualities.

Lichka took charge of the Blue and Whites in the off-season. Previously, the Czech coached Orenburg, with whom he took seventh place in the last season of the Russian Championship.

— Does Lička’s approach to work differ from what it was with Jokanovic?

“He is more open, but he treats everyone equally and talks to everyone. Lichka is an excellent coach.

— What strong qualities would you note in him?

– A lot of them. Marcel is hardworking, demanding and honest. If you played poorly, he will tell you about it. If he played well, he will tell you about it too. This appeals to me.

— Marcel doesn’t give the impression of a man who could throw a bottle at a football player. Have you ever seen an emotional Lichka? What is he like when he’s angry?

— It happened several times after draws that no one needed. A couple of times Marcel raised his voice, but mostly he tries to explain everything to us in a normal tone and, if he shouts, it’s not to push or scold someone, but to keep the team on their toes,” Lepsky told Metaratings.ru.

Dynamo ranks third in the Russian Championship standings with 25 points from 15 matches.
