Former CSKA head coach Valery Gazzaev believes that the Kazakhstan national team did not have enough experience and skill to directly qualify for the 2024 European Football Championship.
The Kazakhstan national team was unable to win a direct ticket to Euro 2024, but can get to the tournament through the playoff matches. Since May 2022, the team has been headed by Russian specialist Magomed Adiev.
“We must pay tribute to the Kazakhstan national team, especially to the team’s head coach Magomed Adiev, who managed to find an approach to the players and inspire them to play like this. They had a huge chance to get out of the group, but, unfortunately, they still lacked experience and skill. Nevertheless, the performance of the national team in the Euro selection will serve as a good starting point and will bear fruit in the future, RT quotes Gazzaev.
