Former deputy general director of Spartak Vladimir Kuzmichev appreciated the work of Englishman Paul Ashworth as sports director of the Moscow club.
The 54-year-old Briton has been working at Spartak since September 26, 2022.
“From what I saw and know, I would give him a solid “F” and break up with him. The system of training young players is important to me, but he, as a sports director, had nothing to do with it and did not take part in it. This is abnormal, because the students are the main asset of the club. For example, he did nothing to revive the second team,” RB Sport quotes Kuzmichev.
On Saturday, Spartak will play away against Kaliningrad Baltika as part of the 16th round of the WORLD RPL. Watch the live broadcast of the match from 19:40 (Moscow time) on the MATCH PREMIER TV channel, as well as on the websites sportbox.ru and matchtv.ru.
