Dynamo board member Dmitry Gafin said that Brighton striker Kaoru Mitoma could become a Blue and White player in 2021.

– Mitoma. We talked to him when he played in his Japanese club. We had some skepticism – as far as I remember, he was 23-24 years old, and it was his first season in the J-League after transferring from college football. We decided to take a chance, but at the last stage of negotiations they asked for a huge salary, explaining that Mitoma had an option with a club from the Premier League. We thought whether it was a bluff or not, but after a while it became clear that it was not a bluff. They asked for a salary ten times more than he received before. This player was found by breeder Nariman Akavov,” RB Sport quotes Gafin as saying.
This season, Mitoma has played 17 matches, scored three goals and made four assists.
