Bilyaletdinov did not rule out that after Cordoba’s disqualification, Krasnodar will be relegated from the top three to the RPL
“Krasnodar”, in the event of a long disqualification of striker John Cordoba, may fall below third place in the MIR RPL standings, said former Russian national team midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov.
On Sunday, Krasnodar lost to Ural in Yekaterinburg with a score of 1:3. Cordoba received a red card after the final whistle for making an offensive gesture towards the assistant referee. After the game in the podium, the Colombian insisted that his gesture was addressed to representatives of his team.
— Cordoba’s behavior in the match with Ural reflects the psychological problems of the Bulls. If he is disqualified for a long time, the team will have an even more difficult time in the next matches. So you can fall out of the top three,” RB Sport quotes Bilyaletdinov as saying.
According to the RFU disciplinary regulations, “offensive behavior by a player or club official towards match officials before, during and after a match, i.e. the use of profanity, offensive words and expressions, as well as offensive gestures, is punishable by a disqualification of two to four matches, and in case of relapse – disqualification for up to three months, and a fine in the amount of 200 thousand to 500 thousand rubles may be applied to him.”
After 16 rounds, Krasnodar is in second place in the standings with 32 points.
Live broadcasts of MIR RPL matches can be watched on the Match TV and MATCH PREMIER TV channels, as well as on the websites matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru.
