CSKA played a draw with Rostov in the first match of the Russian Cup playoffs

CSKA Moscow and Rostov tied in the first quarterfinal match of the playoffs of the RPL FONBET Russian Cup.
The meeting took place in Rostov-on-Don and ended with a score of 1:1. In the 8th minute, the hosts took the lead after an own goal by CSKA defender Kirill Nababkin; in the 32nd minute, CSKA forward Anton Zabolotny equalized the score by heading in a cross from a free kick.
From the 77th minute, the “red and blues” played in the minority: referee Kirill Levnikov showed a red card to defender Moises for handball.
The teams will play the return match in Moscow from March 12 to 14. The winner of the confrontation on the sum of two meetings will advance to the semi-finals of the playoffs of the RPL Path, the loser will go to the second stage of the quarter finals of the playoffs of the Path of Regions.
