Daev believes that the management of Baltika should not fire Ignashevich

Former Baltika footballer Vyacheslav Daev said that the management of the Kaliningrad team should not fire Sergei Ignashevich from the post of head coach.

Baltika, with 12 points, is in 15th place in the MIR RPL standings.

– Ignashevich must be left behind. Nothing so terrible has happened to Baltika yet. The team recently entered the Premier League. With a high degree of probability, Baltika would have fought for survival. Everything that happens is logical. If another coach comes, nothing will change.

— Do you like Ignashevich’s work?

– In general, yes. He brought Baltika to the Premier League. There are some rough edges, some things don’t work out, but you have to give the coach a chance. Torpedo changed three coaches last season, and it didn’t help them.

— Will Baltika remain in the RPL?

– Hard to say. I support Baltika. Kaliningrad is a good football region. “I will be rooting for the team to remain in the Premier League,” RB Sport quotes Daev as saying.
