Girona snatched victory in the match with Valencia and took the lead in La Liga

Girona won a strong-willed victory over Valencia in the match of the 15th round of the Spanish Championship.
The meeting took place in Girona and ended with a score of 2:1. The guests opened the scoring at the beginning of the second half, with forward Hugo Duro scoring in the 57th minute. Christian Stuani scored a double for the hosts (83rd and 88th minutes).
Girona took the lead in La Liga with 38 points. Real Madrid is second (35 points after 14 games). Valencia has 19 points and is in 10th place.
In the next match, Girona will play away against Barcelona on December 10, Valencia will play an away match against Getafe two days earlier.
