Krylia Sovetov beat Sochi on the road and rose to third place in the RPL table

Samara “Wings of the Soviets” defeated “Sochi” in the match of the 17th round of the MIR Russian Premier League (RPL).
The meeting, held in Sochi, ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the guests. The goals were scored by Roman Yezhov and Benjamin Garre, who converted a penalty in stoppage time for the second half. Referee Vladimir Moskalev awarded a penalty kick after a violation by home team defender Kirill Zaika on Vladislav Shitov.
Sochi’s winless streak in the Russian Championship reached five matches.
“Wings”, having scored 29 points, rose to third place in the RPL standings. Sochi (10) occupies the last line.
In the next round, Igor Osinkin’s team will play away against Moscow’s Spartak on December 9, and a day later the Sochi team will host Orenburg.
