The former coach of Dynamo Makhachkala has no doubt that the team will reach the RPL

Former Dynamo Makhachkala coach Goran Aleksic assessed the team’s success this season.

The club from Dagestan left for the winter break as the leader of the MELBET First League, scoring 37 points in 20 games. Khimki (36) takes second place, Akron (35) closes the top three.

— I think that the chances of entering the RPL are very high, because experienced football people are now working at Dynamo: Gadzhi Gadzhiev and Kurban Berdyev. They know how to get results. My contribution to success? It would be wrong to say that I laid the foundation for this. For a year and a half, I put all my efforts into achieving the result, but we achieved this together. The system was built by our president Gadzhi Gadzhiev and all the people who worked in the club. We made the most of what we had.

Am I upset that I don’t work with the team now? I can’t be offended by anything; on the contrary, I will be very happy if Dynamo solves the problem of entering the RPL. All those people who work at the club now remain my friends. My relationship with Gadzhi Gadzhiev is good. It can’t be any other way, this is my teacher, I worked with him both at Amkar Perm and Dynamo Makhachkala. We are still in touch with him now,” Metaratings.ru quotes the coach as saying.

Aleksic took over Dynamo in January 2022. With him, the team rose from FNL-2 to the First League. At the end of last season, Dynamo became eighth in the standings, and the Serbian coach left the team before the start of this season. In his place, the club appointed Kurban Berdyev.
