Moscow’s Spartak reacted to an episode from the 17th round match of the MIR RPL with Akhmat, when after a clash with the Grozny midfielder Bernard Berisha, the team’s head coach Guillermo Abascal was sent off.

In Sunday’s match, Akhmat beat Spartak at home with a score of 2:1. After Hamid Agalarov’s goal against the Muscovites in the first half, Abascal received a red card when he pushed Berisha. Before this, the player jumped with both feet into the Spartak technical area next to the coach. Berisha received a yellow card.

— At the 33rd minute there was an episode that largely turned the game around. Its main character was Berisha. First, the Kosovo legionnaire from Grozny made a very successful pass with the outside of his foot to Agalarov, who threw it over Selikhov and opened the scoring.

Berisha ran to celebrate the goal… to the Spartak coaching bench. And he did it in the strangest way possible: at speed he jumped with both feet forward, being in close proximity to Abascal. The amazed coach wanted to push the provocateur out of our technical area, and he, feeling the touch, collapsed to the ground and grabbed his face.

The referee regarded this as a physical impact on Berisha and sent off Guillermo. While the Grozny player received only a yellow card. Why VAR didn’t tell Kukulyak how it all started is a mystery, reports the Spartak website.

“Spartak” (27 points) takes seventh place in the RPL, “Akhmat” of Miroslav Romashchenko with 16 points is 13th.
