Kokorin’s double helped Aris defeat AEL in the Cyprus Championship match

A double by Russian striker Alexander Kokorin helped Aris defeat AEL in the away match of the 13th round of the Cyprus football championship.
The meeting ended with a score of 4:0 in favor of Aris. Kokorin scored in the 39th and 66th minutes, with Mihlali Mayambela (49) and Veljko Nikolic (88) also scoring.
AEL players were forced to spend most of the match in the minority; in the 45th minute, Ezekiel Henty received a straight red card.
Aris leads the standings with 29 points, ahead of APOEL (29) and Paphos (29) in additional indicators.
