Former Torino footballer Franco Semioli expressed the opinion that the Turin club lacks Russian midfielder Alexei Miranchuk.
The Russian played for Torino last season on loan from Atalanta, played 31 matches, scored four goals and made six assists.
— Miranchuk was an important player for Torino last season. Many expected him to stay in the team because he was a perfect fit for (head coach Ivan) Juric’s football. I don’t know if there is a chance that he will be in the team in the winter, but in any case, Torino is looking for a player with his characteristics in the attacking line.
The team needs to strengthen the attack, and Alexey is the player who can decide the episode in any match. The current “Torino” lacks such a player, the publication quotes Semioli as saying.Euro‑Futbol.Ru“
In the current Serie A season, Miranchuk played five matches for Atalanta without scoring any goals.
