“Rostov lacked a margin of safety somewhere” – the club’s ex-coach on the results in the first part of the RPL season
Former Rostov coach Zaur Tedeev assessed the club’s results in the first part of the season in the Russian Championship.
After 17 rounds, Valery Karpin’s team is in 10th place in the RPL WORLD table, gaining 20 points.
— Your native Rostov did not start the season very well. What is this connected with?
“Maybe there wasn’t enough safety margin somewhere.” Not such a long bench. The possibilities are not that great. But if we look at the game, I don’t remember a single match in which Rostov was very disappointing. But there were matches in which there was not enough depth in the squad to rotate and maintain the quality of the game. But recent matches show that the team is at a very good level. I think the team should score their points. I absolutely love Rostov and the fans, I am still in contact with them. “With great gratitude I remember my time in Rostov,” RB Sport quotes Tedeev.
