“CSKA completely outplayed Rostov.” I would generally call the game of the army team the best in this round” – Shalimov

Russian coach Igor Shalimov said that CSKA completely outplayed Rostov in the match of the 17th round of the MIR RPL, which took place in the snow on Sunday.

The meeting took place in Moscow on Sunday and ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the hosts. Due to heavy snowfall, the field had to be cleared during the game.

– There are clear concepts about who determines whether the match will take place – this is the referee, and there are criteria on his part for making a decision – he does not look at whether the game will be beautiful, whether the tactical schemes and developments of the coaches can be implemented. The referee comes out and looks at the bounce of the ball and how it rolls on the grass, as well as whether the game is dangerous in such conditions.

And then the game began. And I would generally call CSKA’s game the best in this round – in terms of how the team controlled the ball, how it went on the attack and how it played the ball. I didn’t see any simplification, we created enough chances, and after a low play, and the second goal was simply superb. I also didn’t see that the ball was slowing down on the field. In my opinion, CSKA completely outplayed the opponent,” RB Sport quotes Shalimov.

MIR RPL matches are shown live on the Match TV and MATCH PREMIER TV channels, as well as on the websites matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru.
