Former Dynamo coach Andrei Kobelev believes that Moscow team forward Konstantin Tyukavin can become one of the best football players of the 2023/24 season if he continues to show his current level of play.

Tyukavin played 22 matches this season, scored nine goals and provided five assists. On Tuesday, the striker won the Top Five award, which is given to the best young footballer under 21 years of age.

— It is wrong to present the “First Five” award at the end of the calendar year. It should be awarded at the end of the season – then it will be a more objective situation. We have seen many times when a player plays great in the first part of the championship, but sits on the bench in the second. It seems to me that this award, like any other, should be presented at the end of the season.
