Dynamo footballer Tyukavin about his performance this season: “I can’t call it a leap”
Dynamo Moscow forward Konstantin Tyukavin said that he cannot yet evaluate his performance, since the second part of the season is still ahead.
This season, 21-year-old Tyukavin played 22 matches in which he scored nine goals and made five assists. On Tuesday, the footballer won the “First Five” award, which is awarded to the best young football player under 21 years of age. Last season Tyukavin had 10 goals and seven assists.
— This season is your best statistically. What is the secret to the dramatic jump in performance?
— I can’t call it a leap, since the second half of the season is still ahead. Let’s see what happens next and sum up the results at the end of the season.
— The reason for such high results lies in working with Lichka?
“I just train and try my best both in training and in games. When it works out, then everything goes, but it happened that the ball didn’t want to go into the goal at all. It was necessary to rethink, think and reconsider some points. It’s good that everything has improved now, and I would like it to continue like this,” Sport24 quotes Tyukavin.
In the next round of the RPL, Dynamo will play away against Fakel Voronezh on December 10. Watch the live broadcast of the game from 13:55 Moscow time on the MATCH PREMIER TV channel, as well as on the websites matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru.
