Akhmat tied with Rostov in a home match before the RPL break

Grozny “Akhmat” could not defeat “Rostov” in the match of the 18th round of the MIR Russian Premier League (RPL).
The meeting took place in Grozny at the Akhmat Arena and ended with a score of 0:0. The visitors were forced to play out the end of the match in the minority; during stoppage time in the second half, defender Andrei Langovich received a red card.
“Rostov” held this meeting without head coach Valery Karpin, who was disqualified for making offensive statements towards the referees. His duties were performed by Mikhail Osinov.
“Akhmat” with 17 points is in 13th place in the standings, “Rostov” (21) is in tenth place.
The next round of the RPL will be played in March 2024, Akhmat will play a home match with Ekaterinburg Ural, and Rostov will host Krylya Sovetov Samara.
