The famous Russian coach Igor Shalimov, in a conversation with RB Sport, spoke about Lokomotiv’s victory over Ural in the match of the 18th round of the WORLD RPL.

On Friday, Ural lost away to the capital team with a score of 0:2. After 18 rounds of the championship, Lokomotiv is in fourth place in the table with 31 points.

— Away matches before the break are always difficult – the players think about vacation, and this affects because the locker room is full of suitcases. Therefore, I introduced a rule according to which the team returns home after the last game, and from there, after a meeting, goes on vacation. After that there were two victories. Ural did not make a single shot on target, which happened only for the second time in the championship.

As for Lokomotiv, the team set up well, played aggressively, even on such a field they tried to play low, through a pass. I would like to note Tiknizyan, who became the team’s main scorer in the autumn part – he is very active in the attack, runs – he is durable and technical, Pinyaev, who made a breakthrough and then passed it to Tiknizyan, and Glushenkov, – said Shalimov.
