It’s time for Manchester United management to resign ten Hag, Dyakov believes

Former Rostov defender Vitaly Dyakov believes that Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag will be fired in the near future.

On Tuesday, Manchester United lost at home to Bayern Munich in the match of the sixth round of the group stage of the Champions League – 0:1. The English team finished last in the group and finished out of European competition this season. The Mancunians conceded 15 goals in six meetings – more than any other English club during their participation in the Champions League. According to Relevo, Julen Lopetegui could become the club’s next coach.

“Manchester United is the team that always fights for titles. I think it’s time to fire ten Hag. Restructuring is coming to the team; businessman Glazer also bought a 25% stake in the club. Therefore, big changes are coming in Manchester, both in the coaching and management staff. Naturally, there will be a recruitment of new players. The club has spent a lot of money over a period of time on transfers, and the squad is depressing. The club was simply killed. Ten Hag? There is either Rangnick or this one. The Dutchman at Ajax worked well with the young people, but when he came to Manchester United he either couldn’t cope or the players didn’t listen,” Dyakov told Vprognoze.ru.

INFANTINO: “If there was no FIFA, there would be no football in 150 countries of the world”

FIFA President Gianni Infantino He commented on World Cup ticket prices, saying they reflected “absolutely insane” demand for next summer’s tournament:

“We have six to seven million tickets and in 15 days we received 150 million ticket requests. So every day we have 10 million requests. This shows how strong the World Cup is.”

FIFA has sold just 44 million tickets in almost 100 years of the World Cup. So we were able to sell tickets for the 300th anniversary of the World Cup in two weeks. Just imagine. “This is absolutely crazy.”

Infantino also noted that funds from ticket sales would be reinvested into world football, but did not specify a specific amount:

“The important thing is that the revenue from this goes back into football around the world. If it weren’t for FIFA, there would be no football in 150 countries of the world. Football exists thanks to the revenues we get from the World Cup, and we reinvest that into football around the world.”

Previously, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer called on FIFA to further reduce 2026 World Cup ticket prices.
